'Error' on mouse pointer

This is driving me mad, suddenly a miniature dialogue box with ERROR appears where my mouse icon should be. Obviously useful if I want to mark loads of selected text as an error, but I don't!

Does anybody know how to get rid of it without restarting?

does a simple Esc work? Jan 7, 2015

I've seen Esc work with other messages in memoQ, but then again I have never had an "Error" message
