Converting Simplified into Traditional Chinese in Target Text

Hi there,

I am using Memo Q, version 6.8.52.
If anyone knows how and if I can convert target text from simplified Chinese into traditional Chinese characters.

Using MT to "translate" Simplified to Traditional Chinese is more reliable as there may be usage differences.

I know proz doesn't allow advertising but the following procedure does exactly what Zhou & Petkovic wants.

I know proz doesn't allow advertising but the following procedure does exactly what Zhou & Petkovic wants.

1. Export bilingual file from MemoQ:



2. Use GT4T's "Translate target column" feature. To do this:

Start GT4T File Translator, click "Options" and select "Translate target column"



3. Set language pair to Chinese Simplified to Chinese Traditional.

4. Drag the export bilingual file in step one to GT4T File Translator

5. After it's translated, double click the bilingual file to import to MemoQ. Dada~~ ▲ Collapse
