Conference feedback

Useful, inspiring and to the point, thank you for the opportunity!

As a newcomer to the world of CAT tools I wish to convey my thoughts about these presentations. I found them to be very clear and the information is presented in such a way to enable me to learn rapidly. Thank you. Happy International Translation Day!

Amazing sessions from free tools to mistakes to avoid to managing client expectations (to name a few). Great added value and by far the best way to celebrate Translator's Day. Many thanks!

Thanks for organizing this event again. I always enjoy it. This year I couldn't participate much because my Internet connection is pitiful but I plan to check the videos on demand as soon as I am able.

Happy International Translation Day!

I have tried to recall as much information as I could but it was overwhelming! I will have to watch the conferences again on demand to be able to get all this valuable information. Thanks a lot for your time to share your knowledge!!!

Time From To Content
10:19 May 28, 2014 Poly Patter: 1922254 All thanks
10:20 May 28, 2014 István Lengyel: 142959 All Ali: can you watch the presentation in the evening? The biggest change is probably the Template projects, where you can set up projects and automate repetitive work very fast.
10:20 May 28, 2014 István Lengyel: 142959 All On average, it saves you 80% of the clicks when setting up a project.
10:21 May 28, 2014 Ali Bayraktar: 710657 All I am thinking to add MemoQ in my pool of CAT Tools.
10:21 May 28, 2014 István Lengyel: 142959 All Ali: I can only recommend that :)
10:22 May 28, 2014 Roberto Silva: 63936 All Hi. Will the presentations be available on proZ or youtube after the virtual day? I am affraid I will not be able to attend all I could wish.
10:22 May 28, 2014 Poly Patter: 1922254 All Ali, memoQ is very good, I recommend it!!
10:22 May 28, 2014 Sandor Papp: 1193492 All @Roberto, sure, presentations will be available on the virtual event page
10:22 May 28, 2014 Roberto Silva: 63936 All Perfect, thanks!
10:23 May 28, 2014 István Lengyel: 142959 All While we are here, can I ask a question to all of you? Is anybody here working with others as a team regularly?
10:24 May 28, 2014 Roberto Silva: 63936 All Do you mean as freelancers sharing a common project or as translators in a company environment?
10:24 May 28, 2014 Ali Bayraktar: 710657 All What limitations are there in trial version? I mean the differences compared to full version.
10:24 May 28, 2014 István Lengyel: 142959 All Yes, I meant freelancers... people who work together but don't have a company.
10:25 May 28, 2014 István Lengyel: 142959 All Ali: only the 45 days, nothing else.
10:25 May 28, 2014 Ali Bayraktar: 710657 All But there must be some functional limitations.
10:25 May 28, 2014 Edit Erdodi: 1648720 All Ali: There are no limitation in our trial versions.
10:25 May 28, 2014 István Lengyel: 142959 All No, there aren't any, Ali. It's the same as translator pro.
10:27 May 28, 2014 Roberto Silva: 63936 All No, but I can tell you it is a hot topic among freelancers. With rates going down for some and the chance to loose a direct client (or LSP) if you do not comply with speed and quality requirements...
10:27 May 28, 2014 Roberto Silva: 63936 All ...it makes sense.
10:27 May 28, 2014 Ali Bayraktar: 710657 All I used it several times for testing the specific issues in my projects. Like reaktion time or when I had problems with a file format I tried the job in MemoQ too. But never did it my everyday's routin
10:27 May 28, 2014 Edit Erdodi: 1648720 All Except for time limitation. Trials are time limited for 30 days or 45 days in case of the memoQ translator pro.
10:27 May 28, 2014 jackassik: 1928659 All I've seen term "TMs" used several times. What does it mean?
10:28 May 28, 2014 Ali Bayraktar: 710657 All Translation Memories
10:28 May 28, 2014 jackassik: 1928659 All oww, thank you.
10:29 May 28, 2014 Ali Bayraktar: 710657 All Thanks for the information Istvan, Poly and editer. Have a nice day.
