What do you recommend for project management, invoincing and bookkeeping?

I'm currently using the good old excel file to keep track of my projects, do my bookkeeping and invoincing.
However there's this VeriFactu thing coming soon. A system that the spanish government will implement to try to avoid tax fraud.
So far I've been in contact with the people in Gestpoint, who offer a quite comprehensive software to do all that and deals also with the issue of bookkeeping when you have invoices in multiple currencies.

I'd like to know what software you use, specially if you're in Spain and face the same problems.
It seems to be particularly suited to individual translators (as opposed to agencies), and, according to Martina, it's particularly user-friendly and easy to use.

AFAIK, neither LSP.expert nor LemonTwist offers support for VeriFactu.
I foresee a situation with freelancers from bureaucratic countries like Spain or Italy whereby they use an invoicing portal to send invoices *and* use their own bookkeeping system to keep track of copies of invoices separately.
I'm not sure how it works in Spain, but with the Italian system, you can use a third-party portal that liaises with the tax office, or use the government's own invoicing portal, and it sends your invoice to your client on your behalf. In the Italian system, you can download a preview of it and send that to your client for confirmation before you finalize it, but then the government sends the finalized invoice to your client as well. But if your client has additional invoice requirements that are not met by the portal's invoicing template, then you'd have to send them a customized invoice anyway, in addition to the portal's invoice.
However, Martina is originally from Italy, so perhaps you can ask her to add it to LemonTwist's list of RFEs.
