Hello,
I have been struggling to find out a useful feature that can allow translators to add multiple translation units to the TM, having the same source and diffrent target translations.
This feature is present in Trados and I use it all the time but I have been unable to find it within Cafetran. I suppose that it cannot be missing as it is really important for any translator!!!
The only feature that I have found is called Alternative Translation (ALT+T) ... See more

The only feature that I have found is called Alternative Translation (ALT+T) but appearently this Alternative Translation edited by the translator is not transferred to the TM. It can only be used withing the project the translator is processing but if I check the list of TUs in the TM the Alternative Translation sentence does not appear,

I'm not 100% sure because I don't use this feature myself but I think you can access it in the settings of a particular TM (either when setting up the project or afterwards via right-click > Options):

For an alternative solution with more control: You can add one or two additional TMs with priority medium and low and store alternative translations in them. You will need to use the New Fragment dialogue box. And you will probably need to disable the Read Only setting before adding an alternate translation. After adding the TM, you will need to set it back to read-only.
