How to disable space char omitting in segmentation? De persoon die dit onderwerp heeft geplaatst: cai_miao

I'm making fantranslation and trying to move my workflow to CAT. (env.: memoq 9.5)
I have figured out aligning and convert my existing transalation to MT and all things seem fine until I pre-translate them.
I find that MemoQ omits my space characters on segmentation, even I deleted all segmentation rules with custom rule, it still omits.

(e.g. half-width punctuation to full-width punctuation)
What should I do?

Hi,
I would suggest for you to remove that space from your TM by editing the TMX file. This can be done as follows: export TM as TMX file, import into memoQ project having the same source/target language, then perform replacement using the following regex on both source and target:
Find:
\s+$
Replace with:

Hi,
My case is a bit complicated - in the source file, some space are supposed to reserve and some are not after translation.
Doing so, I can't distinguish them anymore as TM is made 100% correct to handle it.
If the space omitting in segmentaion is FORCED to be applied in memoQ, then I will give up using memoQ for the project. | | |
