Incorrect language direction

When I created a new project, I inadvertently set the wrong direction EN-DE rather than DE-EN.
Is it possible to correct the TM for a future project?

There might be any easier solution, but what worked for me:
1. Export TM as TMX
2. Change the source and target language tags in the TMX (XML) with Notepad (for example)
3. Create a new TM
4. Reimport the edited TMX
5. Delete the original TM
