Hallo!
Ich bin Italienisch und wohne in Italien. Mein Freund und ich haben uns entschieden von Italien nach Österreich(Graz) umzuziehen und mir geistern schon zig fragen durch den kopf zb.:
-Wie meldet man sich als Selsbtstaendige in Österreich an?
-Irgendwelche Tipps fuer Steuer?

-I really want to keep working as a freelance but I need advice on how to approach the new market in Graz. Since I don't speak German fluently how can I start working?I suppose English-Italian is not a good language combination in Austria. I was thinking about getting a part time job as Italian teacher(but would it be possibile without German?) while getting intensive course of German+networking/contacting translation agencies?
Ich bin für wirklich jeden tipp, vorschlag dankbar.

As regards the teaching job, you can try Berlitz. As far as I know, they have their offices in Graz and they hire native speakers. You would need to complete a training though.

When I found out what they pay, I wasn't interested. Anna, why recommend something you have had no experience with? Or have you?

As for Berlitz, I've already applied for a position as Italian native speaker but they didn't select my profile. (I have no idea about how much do they pay but it would be just a "starting point" I have no big pretension)

I worked there several years ago that's why their name came immediately to my mind.
I don't know what the rates are now. It was just a suggestion.
