Hi everyone!
As of late, MT - which I often use for some small projects full of product descriptions - often stops working, usually in the evening.
I researched a little and there is an old answer stating that it is usually something like server maintenance, a problem one can avoid by using a different MT engine.
Alas, when it happens, it seems like all MT engines don't work anymore. No changing the service, no shutting down and relaunching etc. seems to help restart the servi... See more

As of late, MT - which I often use for some small projects full of product descriptions - often stops working, usually in the evening.
I researched a little and there is an old answer stating that it is usually something like server maintenance, a problem one can avoid by using a different MT engine.
Alas, when it happens, it seems like all MT engines don't work anymore. No changing the service, no shutting down and relaunching etc. seems to help restart the service.
A while ago, "MT downtime" was a rather rare occasion. Right now, it seems to happen more often.
This is a pity, to be honest. I still like CafeTran's look and layout better than Trados, and it definitely launches more quickly than the latter, but without leveraging free MT for these small projects I doubt I will continue using it.
Am I the only one with this issue?

Create a TMX Nov 8, 2022

How about creating an MT TMX in the morning or during your lunch break?

Unfortunately, it got worse Dec 13, 2022

Unfortunately, it got worse.
Not only has MT stopped working now, 12:00 pm, but also it seems like it's not even able to extract partial matches anymore. I only get 100% matches.

Are you using MyMemory? Did you update CafeTran Espresso to 11.2.3?
