no problem Nov 25, 2024

You're really delivering a ton of information. I have to check all of that in due time.
About the four usb's integrated on the motherboard: that fits the description in the booklet of the board, and the original professional building the computer probably connected 4 ports to each connection on the board.
Unfortunately, the guy's shop burned down a year or two ago, and I guess he fled from the people whose pc's he was working on at the moment. Internet knows everything, but nobody can find him.
The real problem with that board is that everything is so cased in by cooling and heat sinks, it's very difficult to get access to it. I can't even change the motherboard battery without taking out 4 parts.

No problem, I'm glad helping you. It's familiar for me that scenario with the IT guy fleeing from the customers, happens here too in my country.

No damage yet Nov 26, 2024

So, maybe the CPU is overloaded after one hour like you've said, and that's why your PC shut down, because that's the settings for CPU, preventing from burning it.

That implies there is no damage (yet). That fits with the fact that I can still use it.

Yes. Your motherboard is pretty much new. I don't know what are you doing on your PC and why your CPU is overloading, if this is the case, but the BIOS itself got settings to shut down, to prevent burning the PC parts when the temps got high. These settings are standard for any motherboard. And my motherboard also has anti-surge.
You said your IT guy installed new windows after flashing your BIOS, so it's not a virus. The other day, I catch some virus from internet, BitcoinMiner! and my CPU was constantly above 56% usage on idle in Task Manager. https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows10/comments/zvaidl/microsoft_compatibility_telemetry/ And was reaching 100% when I was doing some simple tasks, like checking email or browsing. I thought it will burn, but didn't. My PC was restarting by itself. Anyway, this current motherboard I bought it second hand with CPU on it. So I have another CPU for this socket motherboard from the previous configuration, just in case.

First, try my suggestions from previous posts.
1.Use different ports for your USB devices, use the black ones on your motherboard and see if the problem occurs again.
2.Update the drivers for your USBs and for your chipset from the official links for your motherboard model.
3.Do scan with Microsoft Defender for viruses.

No new windows Nov 26, 2024

I didn't make myself clear, I think, because there is not a new Windows on it. It's basically the same installation since I bought the pc in 2019. Only the Bios was upgraded past week.
The idea of a virus crossed my mind too.

At this moment tha CPU and the GPU never come above 5%. I actually think a Ryzen 7 3700x 8 core - 16 threads is too heavy for a translator.

Well, that's a good CPU, for sure.

I suspect the CPU, because of those USB ports integrated in the CPU, and you said that the problem appears after hour or so. So your PC isn't shutting down immediately when you plug USB device?

Check this fix
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJLMHgxa8yo

Drivers are funny thing, man. If they aren't updated your hardware isn't working properly. The motherboard drivers are essential, the chipset, the usbs, etc...

And funny thing, I said that I bought cheap sound card and this is the one https://www.amazon.com/GGBEST-Internal-Windows-Profile-500154344/dp/B09RZP13DR
not from amazon, but from local store here in my town. And no drivers for Win 10, so I installed the available drivers in compatibility mode for Win 7 and it worked like charm.

This is my back panel

What's happening today? Did your PC shut down today? Did you check the drivers, it must be the drivers.

No problems Nov 27, 2024

It's a week ago I had the problem, but that's probably because I don't use it for long enough to give the problem the change to occur.
I have now copied all the links you've mentioned in a document, so that I can check them out without having to log in here.
Thank you.

That's great. I'm glad if I helped you in anyway.
