Nederlands term of zin: postsono
Hi all

I'm having real trouble finding a translation for this term which seems to be the name of a department at a broadcasting company:

'Voor de creatieve processen – met name de afdelingen grafiek, postsono, decorontwerp en voor een stuk ook montage - hebben wij al jaren X-apparatuur in huis.'

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Uitleg:
Just a guess, based on Jack's suggestion above.

"Audio post production is the general term for all stages of production happening between the actual recording in a studio and the completion of a master recording. It involves, sound design, sound editing, audio mixing, and the addition of effects.

Film

Audio Post Production usually refers to audio that is synchronized with video. This applies to TV, cinema, and commercials..."

Admittedly, although I have some knowledge of French, I am not expert in that language. However, I have come across the following comment which is referring to Magix Software Version 15 Premium where the term postsono is used in other than Esperanto and which may throw some light on what this term could mean:

Module de postsonorisation
Il s'agit d'une bibliothèque d'effets de postsono comprenant 500 effets exclusifs de son, des chansons (du romantique au dramatique) et des modèles de bruitages : animaux, machines, cris....

My understanding of this is as follows - Square brackets are essentially untranslated terms as in the original:
[Post-sonorisation] Module
This is a library of [postsono] effects, including 500 exclusive sound effects, songs (romantic, dramatic) and patterns of sounds: animals, machines, screaming. . . .
Hope this helps.
