I'm translating one of those wonderful lists of parts and equipment. There are four columns: name of part; price in euros; *staffel*; and *staffelprijs*. The numbers in the *staffel* column are 10, 15, 25, etc. The price in the *staffelprijs* column is slightly lower than the price in the euros column.
So.... does it mean that you get a special deal if you buy 10, 15, 25 of the parts? Does the *staffelprijs* apply to each part, i.e. if the *staffelprijs* is 20 and the *staffel* is 10, then you pay 200 for 10 parts?
Now that I've thoroughly confused you and myself, how do I say this in English?
Batch or consignment might work for "staffel" but "batch/consignment price" would suggest a total price paid for an entire batch/consignment, rather than a unit price.

IMO your own reasoning is correct. I think in an English price list, it would be common to head the 'staffel' column 'quantity' and the 'staffelprijs' column 'price per piece' or 'price per unit'.
E.g.:
Quantity Price per Copy
1 - 9 USD 39
10 - 19 USD 37
20 - 29 USD 35
30 - 50 USD 33

In this case, they use 'copy' rather than 'piece', as the product is software. But for parts, 'piece' would be my choice.

Staircase pricing <= staffelprijzen
Dear Maria,
I have been selling Computer Peripherals in the Netherlands for a US (Minneapolis/Saint Paul) based company for many years in the seventies and eighties and we had staircase pricing systems which were called "staffelprijzen" by my Dutch clients (Philips for one).
With a "staircase pricing contract" the customer was entitled to a lower price as he/she walked down a step on the staircase e.g. with staircase qty steps 1 to 10, 11 to 25, 26 to 50, 51 to 100 etc. the customer/purchaser was entitled (for the duration of the contract) to the price corresponding to the pricing of the specific step (staircase step) of the staircase pricing scheme without any advance qunatity commitment.
The opposite system to staircase pricing was provisional pricing wherby customer/purchaser would "contractually promise" to buy a given qty of units in a given contractually agreed to period, for which customer would receive the "provisional contract price" for thye duration of the contract.
I hope I have not been adding to the confusion.
