From an insurance contract. "het recht heeft om de omvorming in een rente te vragen" is another phrase that appears. Conversion of the capital to interest?
Benificaries may also apply do do this. Thanks for any ideas.

'Rente' should be interpreted as 'lijfrente' here. Just google 'cash to annuity' or 'capital to annuity'.
