I usually agree with the suggestions I think are correct and most appropriate in the query context. I rarely disagree unless the suggestion is particularly egregious.

I used to be very active in both answering and responding to others' answers, but compared to 15 years ago, the entire KudoZ system has seriously deteriorated. Way too often, the questions, the answers to them, or the asker's selection of the right answer betray the person's lack of diligence or, worse yet, cluelesness in the subject. I have already proposed a simple solution to this problem: keep giving the points for the right answer as before, but also give a –1 point for the wrong one. ▲ Collapse

I'd guess 50/50. I don't know the right answer to many of the technical questions. Certainly the wrong answers are often selected for financial questions. Most of the answers to legal questions are unconvincing. But most medical questions seem to be answered correctly. It all depends on who's asking and who's answering.

I think that would make people even less inclined to answer. I rarely post answers these days anyway because I am so fed up of tit-for-tat disagrees by a geriatric ChatGPT wannabe with a similar propensity to waffle on convincingly but actually get it completely wrong. | | | Denis Fesik Local time: 13:23 Engels naar Russisch + ... Or does the question also cover the inner state of agreeing even if I don't express it? Of course I do agree with many answers, and when I do so, I usually don't react. I may put an occasional Agree under someone's post, but only if I have something to say, like a suggestion for improvement (while there are people who will give their own answers that basically copycat an answer already given but have a couple of words changed and maybe a link added). If I disagree, I will either give my own answer, or write a comment with the Neutral status, or just decide not to bother. At least in my feed, you always have to be quick because as once a new question pops up, answerers will be there in no time, and unless the question is exceptionally difficult, at least some of their answers will be pretty sensible. And I don't just put Agree (or any status for that matter) without a comment (there is a lady who seems to vote specifically against me by agreeing with other people's answers even if they are worse than mine while adding zero comments, and no, I've never done her any wrong, maybe she just doesn't like my mug)
P. S.: Adding to my post. Seems like I missed the point of "selected." Yes, good answers often get selected, but some askers' choices are hard to explain. As I already shared a long time ago, part of the reason may be that askers and answerers are at different levels of decision-making prowess: the latter want and like to solve problems, and the former want to have problems solved for them

Kudoz is the fraudest system to manipulate the ranking as such people use to group with cunningness. If people or person having some syndicate then they easily falsify everything. It's a bad way to rank. | | | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » Poll: Do you usually agree with the answers selected to the Kudoz questions?
