Translating is more than just putting words from one language into another, english, french, dutch or german in my case.

Translation is all about communication; transmitting the message, the feel and emotions of the text to be translated.
Texts in the field of Fashion, Cosmetics, PR, Advertising, Marketing and Lifestyle/Tourism are, not surprisingly, my specialities, but I also translate for IT-companies and technical texts.

Every text, book, advertisement is a new challenge, regardless of the language required. I want to reach the recipient in his/her own language for the full 100%. In this, creativity combined with language and communication skills is everything!
And judging by the reactions from some of my customers over the past 17 years, like Bang & Olufsen, DIOR, Sisley, a number of prestigious international museums, AGT International, EVOC, Tennis-Point, Electrolux I must be doing something right.
