Brontekst - Nederlands Wastehub, GMT Europe en Logistiek zonder Papier (LZP) hebben de handen ineen geslagen om Attero en AREA digitaal te verbinden om op eenvoudige wijze data uit te wisselen. Nog nooit was het digitaal uitwisselen van gegevens zo eenvoudig, zo snel en zo betrouwbaar.
AREA Reiniging is het bedrijf dat in de gemeenten Coevorden, Emmen en Hoogeveen afval inzamelt, straten reinigt, gladheid bestrijdt, kolken leegt, plaagdieren beheerst en is actief voor ruim 82.000 huishoudens. AREA gebruikt sinds jaar en dag het softwaresysteem AfvalRIS van GMT voor al haar reinigingsactiviteiten. Alle afvaltransporten worden óf via het softwaresysteem AfvalRIS met behulp van Wastehub óf via LoadIT van LZP uitgegeven. De real-time data wordt vervolgens direct aan Attero doorgestuurd, zodat de weegbrugmedewerkers al direct weten welke vrachtwagens met welke afvalfractie onderweg is.
“Het is prachtig! Wij weten exact welke vrachtwagens onderweg zijn en als we zouden willen, kunnen we ook nog zien wanneer ze hier op de weegbrug aankomen” vertelt een enthousiaste John Boertien van Attero en vult aan: “De doorstroming gaat nu heel veel sneller.”
AREA heeft inmiddels ook haar overige verwerkers hierop aangesproken en hoopt natuurlijk op medewerking in deze. “Onze chauffeurs zijn zo enthousiast dat ze dit eigenlijk overal willen. We geven vrachten digitaal via onze weegbrug uit en alle andere vrachten geven de chauffeurs vanuit de vrachtwagen uit via de mobiele telefoon. Een kind kan de was doen! Wat een eenvoud, ongekend!” vertelt Geert Sibma, bedrijfsleider inzameling bij AREA Reiniging. “Ook zijn we al in een milieucontrole van de politie terecht gekomen en ook de agenten wisten dat we met een digitale begeleidingsbrief van LoadIT werken en daarom ging de controle wel heel snel”, vult een chauffeur van AREA Reiniging aan.
Alle weeggegevens van Attero komen vervolgens digitaal retour zodat AREA direct over de weeggegevens kan beschikken. Zo kan AREA de weeggegevens ‘real time’ in AfvalRIS oproepen en automatisch laten verwerken. “Een mogelijke toekomstige stap zou zijn dat AREA ook de factuur digitaal ontvangt van haar verwerkers”, vertelt Cees Schouls van AREA. “Zo geven we invulling aan ketenintegratie, besparen significant op de kosten en dienen ook in grote mate het milieu!”
“We streven ernaar om het bedrijfsleven te ontlasten en grote besparingen te realiseren op papieren documenten. Door onze samenwerking bereiken we dit natuurlijk en roepen alle andere organisaties op die relevante informatie in haar systemen hebben om deze ook beschikbaar te stellen.” vertelt Mark Abbas de bedenker van Wastehub. “Verbinden, dat is het toverwoord. Digitaal verbinden!”
De data-uitwisseling verloopt nu al 3 maanden naar grote tevredenheid van alle betrokken partijen. Ook andere organisaties in de branche volgen de ontwikkelingen van data-integratie op de voet. Na de zomervakantie zal bekeken worden hoe het concept bij de overige geïnteresseerden uitgerold gaat worden. “De ‘olievlek’ moet zich steeds verder gaan uitdijen. Het doel moet zijn dat iedereen zich hierbij gaat aansluiten en dat we helemaal geen papier meer nodig hebben”, sluit Cees Schouls af.
Vertaling - Engels Wastehub and LZP connect AREA and Attero
Wastehub, GMT Europe and Logistics without Paper (Logistiek zonder Papier - LZP) have joined together to digitally connect Attero and AREA in order to easily share data. Never has the digital exchange of information been so easy, so fast and so reliable.
AREA Cleaning is the company that collects waste, cleans street, combats slipperiness, empties drains, and performs pest control in the Coevorden, Emmen and Hoogeveen town councils and is active for more than 82,000 households. AREA has long been using GMT’s AfvalRIS software system for all its cleaning activities. All waste transport will be issued either through the AfvalRIS software system with help from Wastehub or through LZP’s LoadIT. The real-time data is then sent directly to Attero, so that the weighing platform staff immediately know which trucks are working with which waste group.
“It's wonderful! We know exactly which trucks are on the way and if we would like, we can also see when they arrive here on the weighing platform” says an enthusiastic John Boertien of Attero and adds: “The flow is now a lot faster.”
AREA has now also approached its other processors about this and is of course hoping for cooperation in this. “Our drivers are so enthusiastic that they actually want this everywhere. We digitally provide loads via our weighing platform and all other loads the truck drivers provide from their truck via mobile phone. Child's play! What simplicity, unrivalled!” says Geert Sibma, Collection Manager at AREA Cleaning. “We have also been through a police environmental audit and the officers also knew that we worked with a LoadIT digital guidance note and therefore the audit was completed very quickly,” adds a driver for AREA Cleaning.
All Attero weight data is then digitally returned so that AREA immediately has the weight data available. Therefore AREA can call up the weight data in ‘real time’ in AfvalRIS and process it automatically. “One possible future step would be that AREA can also receive the invoices digitally from its processors,” says Cees Schouls of AREA. “We give meaning to supply chain management, save significantly on costs and to a large extent serve the environment!”
“We aim to unburden the business of and to create large savings on paper documents. Through our cooperation we naturally achieve this and urge all other organisations which have that relevant information in their systems to also make it available,” says Mark Abbas, the creator of Wastehub. “Connect, that is the magic word. Digitally connect!”
The data exchange has now been running for 3 months to the great satisfaction of all parties concerned. Other organisations in the industry are closely following the data integration developments. After the summer holidays we will see how the concept will be rolled out to other interested parties. “The ‘oil spill’ must always continue to expand. The goal must be that everybody will join and we no longer need paper,” concludes Cees Schouls.
