Hi, Albert. I have visited Humphrey's website and saw that a "nearly non-smoking area/room" (rookarme ruimte) is available. Just in case of any resolutions, and in advance of the complete ban on smoking as from 1 July next: would it be possible to make a reservation for this room? You would do me (and probably some other Prozians) a great favour! TIA, Inge.

...and haven't made any New Years resolutions with regard to this habit. I don't mind a non-smoking restaurant (I'm not so heavily addicted I can't do without a cigarette for a while), but I'd like to know if there are any persons in this company who are allergic or otherwise bothered by smoking, so I can choose when and where I will be smoking with the least disturbance to the other attendants.

It seems my message this afternoon got lost somewhere, but I can't resist getting involved in this issue...
Firstly, I had a very enjoyable PowWow all by myself this weekend in Rotterdam, having got the dates mixed up. My translation skills are substantially better than my ability to read a calendar...
However it was most enjoyable and I intend making the same mistake frequently in future; I discovered parts of Rotterdam that I didn't know existed...

As for smoking, as a fervent non-smoker I am becoming increasingly tolerant to those smokers who only have 25 weeks left before they suffer in the same way that the rest of us have suffered for years.
The responses coming in from the smokers show that we are all intelligent enough to work things out reasonably. Having said that, if anyone lights up next to me in Humphrey's, I may be banned from attending future PowWows, including the ones I have all to myself!

Dear Albert,
A couple of days ago I got back from 3 weeks holiday. SO I was informed by my wife that we had another dinner invitation. I will attend the day time but I have to skip dinner part. Is it to late to inform you? If ti is indeed so you can count as if I am there and I will pay the dues.
