Italian term

matrici

Italian to English Tech/Engineering IT (Information Technology) case study: IT template
“ABCD invece è compatibile con tutto, la stessa schermata di configurazione del thin client è intuitiva e completa, a prova di ignorante informatico.
Rispetto ad altri brand, ABCD è più costosa, ma è assolutamente la tecnologia più completa: presenta matrici molto trasparenti ed evolute, e tutte le funzionalità sono licenziate”.

Discussion

James (Jim) Davis Jan 22, 2013:
Then the engineering side could well involve matrices. However, if what you see in the software view is tables then call them tables, the same as excel does.
Lynda La Posta (asker) Jan 22, 2013:
Jim, the software is being implemented for a flexible hose manufacturer. They want to monitor the various stages of the production process.
James (Jim) Davis Jan 22, 2013:
Use Who uses this software and what do they use it for Lynda? Often a "matrice" is just a table, which in IT terms is of course a two by two matrix, while more complex matrices are really complicated mathematical creatures.
philgoddard Jan 22, 2013:
I think you've misunderstood my question.
Lynda La Posta (asker) Jan 22, 2013:
Yes Hi Phil. Yes, the product is an IT template that is being implemented. I wanted to know if the term "Matrix" can be used or if there is a more appropriate term...
philgoddard Jan 22, 2013:
You haven't explained what this product is, but your question header contains the word "template". Isn't that the same as "matrice"?
