I just need a quick confirmation by a German-native colleague specializing in pharmaceuticals.
I have a term here (single-dose container) for eye drops. The German text uses the word Einzeldosisbehälter. I've seem it used in other similar documents, and I do not want to correct it if it's acceptable. To me, Einzeldosisbehältnis sounds better, though, but that does not really mean much (hehe...gulp).
Would someone care to share their opinion on this at this early morning hour?

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

: "Behältnis" wird zwar auch verwendet, klingt aber m. E. schon etwas "altertümlich". / Ich meinte das eher allgemein, das mag aber in der Fachsprache der Pharmazie anders sein ;-)

Danke, Steffen - da bin ich wohl etwas "altertümlich", ich verwende das nämlich noch ;-)/Das mag dann daran liegen, dass die Pharmazeutenbranche insg. etwas "verstaubt" ist ;-)
