Hi,

I am looking into purchasing SDL Trados to use as my CAT tool. If I download it onto a laptop and also want it on another device, is that possible or would I need to purchase it for every device?

You need to buy a plus licence, which will allow you to install and use Trados in two devices of your choice.

Hi,

The other solution is to install it on two (or three or four) devices, which Trados will let you do.
But you can activate the licence only on one.
So when you want to switch devices, you de-activate your licence on the device you were working on, and activate it on the new device.
It's not much of a hassle.
