Noun 1. gum resin - a mixture of resin and gum
elemi, gum elemi - fragrant resin obtain from trees of the family Burseraceae and used as incense
gum myrrh, myrrh - aromatic resin burned as incense and used in perfume

(rubber resins are more industrial and don't suit your application)
