Si bien se entiende por "gasear", esta palabra sola puede tener varios diferentes significados. E.g. darle más gas o acelerar un motor, echarle gas o esforzarse para hacer algo, darle gas o despedir a alguien de su trabajo o su relación.

Sí Kirsten, es interesante. En México se usan ciertos modismos y frases que a veces rayan en lo incomprensible. Se usa como sinónimo de "desaparece", "vuelvete gas", "esfúmate" y otros.
