any woman can wear those. Hoochies, on the other hands, wear ONLY those kind of shoes. That's why they are called "hoochie shoes", as far as I understand so far. THANK GOD LOL

Even in the English forum, theyre is no specific reason for calling them hoochies. It has nothing to do at all, to my surprise, with hochies or any negative meaning! They said it just means "shoes with big soles and very high heels" (that are favourite to hocchies, but not confined to them"

I didn't say that the meaning of the term depends on the context. It's the way that it would be said in Arabic is what depends on the context. I mean mai is not going to say bluntly that they are a type of high-heeled shoes worn by "bad" women. Anyway, I've just gone over the discussion again and noticed that mai said there was no context. Still, she can't just say that they are high heeled shoes because there has to be a point in calling them "hoochie" but it's not possible to know why without context.

Again, it depends on your context mai (or is it maia?). If you're describing a woman & you want to convey this negative sense, you can say "ترتدي حذاء بكعب عالي رفيع من النوع الذي تفضله الساقطات" . Be very careful with this. It's all about the context.

In my opinion, they are not just high heels (which any woman could wear), but they are a type of high heels favored by women who dress in a provocative manner (high mini-skirts, fish-net stockings, low-cut blouse, etc.). Not sure how you can convey this in Arabic.

no cotext. just give me some suggestions of what kind of a "slut" would wear! also there is nothing like "revealing shoes" that's why I thought of حذاء بكعب عالي رفيع .I'm not sure, though. That's why I ask. I nedd more ideas. It has nothing to do with context.

Can you add some context mai? From the following link, hoochie is a negative word. It describes a woman who dresses in a revealing manner, so this would be the type of shoes she'd wear.
