Lastige term. Ik zou 'm zo vertalen denk ik, afhankelijk van of je een 'slot' of een 'lock'bedoelt.

@Asker: Dat er ook nog sprake is van een racking-out slot of lock is een redelijk belangrijk stukje informatie, lijkt mij. Het had geen kwaad gekund het er meteen bij te vermelden ;-) Maar goed... misschien kun je wat met de termen 'uitgaand' resp. 'ingaand'. Dus bijvoorbeeld uitgaande resp. ingaande installatie-preventiesleuf of -vergrendeling. Succes!
