After having searched for years for a decent small-business invoicing program that would be able to handle several currencies and foreign addresses, I was delighted to find TO. It has been developed with the small-business translator in mind, I'm sure (hence the name, maybe...? )

I have submitted a few enhancement ideas to Vladimir though, and I'd like to add a few more here.

1. It should be possible to save invoices directly as pdf. I would think that most of us use the pdf format for e-mailed invoices, so the 'tour' via rtf is a nuiscance.

2. Speaking of rtf, the prog could need a brush-up in terms of processing time for saving rtf. I have made a customized invoice template with my logo as the top text, and my business data in the footer. Even if the logo is a mere 24 kB, and the footer is text only, the file size gets bloated to an amazing 4.9 MB when saving as rtf, and it takes some 5 mins to finish saving the invoice. This is 'screaming' for an updating patch!

3. I don't know about others, but from time to time I make errors in my invoices, and I need to issue Letters of Credit to nullify the erroneous invoice. TO should have this function as well, with automated updating of Accounts Payable, payment dates, etc. As is, I have to 'create' a Letter of Credit from the rtf invoice and do a lot of clumsy, manual updating to get everything ship-shape.

Sorry for having brought up only negative issues - I'm generally very pleased with the prog, but like all software, some enhancement issues will eventually surface when you have been using it for some years.

Kind regards,

Roald
