I would suggest that we do not meet at Brown's. It will be far too noisy and expensive. Better make a booking at a cafe in Cowley Road. Or even a pub such as the Lamb and Flag. But everywhere is going to be crowded.

How about the Angel and Greyhound on St Clement's Road? Quite a nice pub and not normally too crowded.

How about the Turf off Hollywell Street at 7 pm? It has quieter areas, 7 means we'll get seats, but people can go about their business in the afternoon. Pei Ling, your decision, but what do the others think? How many prefer afternoon or evening?

All the pubs are crowded on a Saturday evening. I agree with the Turf tavern - or Angel and Greyhound, although this one is not really nice for sitting outside as far as I know. If people are coming from a distance then it seems sensible to have this in the afternoon.

Am unable to make this Saturday at all, but like the idea of meeting up on a Tuesday a couple of times a month. You organize it - I'll come!
