In Afrika zetten we ons ervoor in ieders recht op behandeling door traditionele genezers te beschermen. Al eeuwenlang bieden deze genezers een gezondheidszorg die is gebaseerd op geheel natuurlijke behandelmethoden en gezondheidspreparaten. De belangen van de farmaceutische industrie vormen echter vandaag de dag een grote bedreiging voor deze genezers. Om deze bedreiging te stoppen, houdt de stichting zich actief bezig met het promoten en verspreiden van informatie over natuurlijke behandelmethoden onder de lokale bevolking.

Tras mi reciente nombramiento como Presidente de la CAMARA OFICIAL DE COMERCIO DE ESPAÑA EN BELGICA Y LUXEMBURGO, me dirijo a Ud. para ponerle al corriente de los propósitos que pretendo llevar a cabo, con el consenso del Consejo de Administración:
Entiendo que las actividades de la Cámara deben tener en cuenta las prioridades siguientes:
-Recabar una mayor participación de los socios en las Comisiones de trabajo.
-Poner a disposición de los socios las aplicaciones de nuevas tecnologías.
-Estrechar la colaboración con Cámaras provinciales y locales en Bélgica y Luxemburgo.
Estos objetivos, estimo, dan respuesta a las expectativas de la mayoría de los miembros de la entidad y tienden a incrementar la calidad de sus servicios. Además, estos objetivos abundan, y complementan, los ya contemplados en la etapa anterior.
Por otra parte, nuevos proyectos deben animar la vida de la Cámara. Nuevas iniciativas que, sería deseable, surgieran, en la medida de lo posible, de entre los socios.
Es mi intención, hacer de la Cámara la herramienta profesional, que le ayude a conseguir los objetivos económicos de su empresa. Sólo con una buena comunicación entre Ud. y los órganos de gestión de esta institución, se puede lograr el grado de eficacia que Ud. espera de nosotros.

Na mijn recente benoeming tot voorzitter van de OFFICIËLE SPAANSE KAMER VAN KOOPHANDEL IN BELGIË EN LUXEMBURG, richt ik mij tot u teneinde u op de hoogte te stellen van de plannen die ik, met instemming van de raad van commissarissen, wil uitvoeren.
Ik ben van mening dat de Kamer van Koophandel tijdens het ontplooien van haar activiteiten de volgende prioriteiten in acht moet nemen:
-Een grotere deelname van de leden in de werkcommissies.
-Toepassingen van nieuwe technologieën ter beschikking stellen aan de leden.
-De samenwerking tussen provinciale en plaatselijke Kamers van Koophandel in België en Luxemburg bevorderen.
Deze doelstellingen geven volgens mijn mening een antwoord op de verwachtingen van het merendeel der leden van onze organisatie en zullen de kwaliteit van de diensten van de Kamer van Koophandel doen toenemen. Bovendien complementeren deze doelstellingen datgene wat reeds in de voorgaande periode is overwogen.
Tevens moeten nieuwe projecten het leven van de Kamer van Koophandel animeren. Nieuwe initiatieven die, voor zover mogelijk, opkomen uit de rijen der leden.
Het is mijn bedoeling van de Kamer van Koophandel een professioneel werktuig te maken dat u behulpzaam is bij het bereiken van de economische doelstellingen van uw bedrijf. Alleen met een goede communicatie tussen u en de bestuursorganen van deze organisatie kan de graad van efficiëntie bereikt worden welke u van ons verwacht.

El Mercado de Vending
El vending consiste en la venta de productos a través de máquinas expendedoras. El mercado de vending, se divide, desde un punto de vista legal, en dos grandes grupos: tabaco y otros productos. Esta sección trata exclusivamente del mercado de vending de productos distintos del tabaco, en especial del vending de bebidas y productos de alimentación.
Este mercado se divide (i) según el tipo de productos que venden las máquinas expendedoras, en máquinas de bebidas calientes, bebidas frías y alimentos sólidos y snacks, y (ii) según el lugar donde se encuentra instalada la máquina, en vending cautivo o privado y en vending público. El Grupo Serventa opera tanto en la familia de bebidas calientes como en la de bebidas frías y en la de alimentos sólidos y snacks, y se concentra fundamentalmente en el mercado cautivo, que representó en el año 2005 aproximadamente el 65% de las ventas.
Las máquinas de bebidas calientes elaboran la bebida en su interior a partir de las materias primas necesarias, mientras que las máquinas de bebidas frías y las de alimentos sólidos sólo realizan la expedición de la bebida o alimento, que ha sido previamente envasado por el fabricante.
Como se puede observar en los siguientes gráficos, en el año 2003, último año para el qué existen cifras publicadas, la mayor parte de la facturación provenía de las máquinas de bebidas frías. Las máquinas de bebidas calientes representaban la mayor parte del parque de máquinas de España (56,6%), aunque las que experimentaban mayor crecimiento, tanto en facturación como en número de máquinas, eran las de alimentos sólidos.

Esta evolución refleja la tendencia creciente a comer en el lugar de trabajo y a diferentes horas del día (a media mañana y por la tarde), frente a tendencias anteriores en las que los usuarios de vending consumían café principalmente a primera hora de la mañana y después de comer. Esta tendencia está favoreciendo, además, el crecimiento del consumo per capita de vending en España.

El vending público es que se lleva a cabo en espacios públicos (tales como hospitales, aeropuertos o estaciones de servicio o de ferrocarril). Las máquinas de vending público suelen ser explotadas junto con el titular de las instalaciones en las cuales están situadas, que percibe una parte del precio de venta. El precio de los productos ofertados a través de este canal suele ser muy superior al de las máquinas de vending privado, ya que el consumidor lo compara con el precio de los productos en un establecimiento hostelero, al contrario que en el vending privado cuyos precios son comparados con los precios en supermercados. Las máquinas dedicadas al vending público tienden a necesitar ser renovadas con mayor frecuencia debido al desgaste que se produce tanto por la exposición al vandalismo como por la climatología. Así, el factor de reposición y el de mantenimiento son claves a la hora de distinguir la calidad de unas compañías frente a otras.
El vending cautivo o privado es el que se desarrolla en espacios cerrados como empresas, organismos públicos o colegios. Las máquinas de vending privado no sólo no suelen ser explotadas junto con el titular de las instalaciones, sino que en ocasiones el cliente subvenciona a sus empleados parte del precio de las consumiciones. En este subsector las máquinas tienen una mayor duración y su reposición tiende a realizarse en el momento en el que el cliente lo solicita, si bien estas máquinas, debido a su buen estado de conservación, suelen reutilizarse.
El mercado de vending privado o cautivo en España supone casi un 70% del total de las máquinas expendedoras de bebidas y alimentos. Sin embargo, el mercado de vending público es más importante en facturación (€484mn vs. €350mn en 2003) debido al mayor precio de las consumiciones y, sobre todo, al diferente mix de productos. Así, es mayor el porcentaje de máquinas de bebidas frías en lugares abiertos al público, mientras que la tendencia cambia para las máquinas de bebidas calientes, con un precio por unidad muy inferior. Desde la perspectiva de la rentabilidad, los altos cánones que se deben pagar por el uso de instalaciones abiertas al público, unido a la mayor frecuencia de renovación del parque de máquinas, hacen que el vending público resulte, por norma general, menos rentable.

The Vending Market
Vending consists of selling products through vending machines. This market is divided from a legal point of view in two large groups: tobacco and other products. This section is only about the vending market other than tobacco and especially vending of drinks and food.
This market is divided (1)according to the product sold in the vending machine; in vending machines for warm drinks, cold drinks, food and snacks, and (11) according to the place where the machine is installed; in captive or private vending or in public vending. The Serventa Group operates in the hot drink sector as well as in the cold drink sector and also in the food and snack sector. They are mainly focused on the captive market, representing approximately 65% of the sales in 2005.
Hot drink vending machines prepare the drink inside the machine from the necessary raw materials, whereas cold drink vending machines and food vending machines only supply the drink or food that has previously been packaged by the manufacturer.
As seen in the charts below, most of the turnover during 2003 (the last year that figures were published) originated from the cold drink machines. Hot drink machines formed the larger part of the vending machines in Spain (56.6%) although the biggest growth, as well in turnover as in number of machines, was seen in food vending machines.

This development shows the growing trend to eat at the work place and at different times of the day (at midday and in the afternoon), compared with previous trends where those who used vending machines mainly drank coffee in the early hours of the morning and after a meal. This trend also favours the per capita consumption in Spain.

Public vending is carried out in public spaces (such as hospitals, airports, petrol stations or train stations). Public vending machines are normally exploited by the owner of the premises where the vending machine is installed, said owner receives a share of the turnover. The price of the products supplied through this channel is normally much higher than prices of products obtained through private vending, due to the fact that the consumer compares these prices to the other products obtained on these premises. In private vending however prices are compared with what one has to pay in a super market. Machines for public vending normally need renewing more frequently due to the wear and tear produced by being exposed to vandalism as well as the weather. Replacement and maintenance are thus key issues when comparing the quality of one company with the other.
Captive or private vending is carried out in enclosed areas such as company premises, public entities or schools. Private vending machines are not only exploited by the owner of the premises, sometimes the client pays part of the consumption price for his employees. In this sub-sector, machines have a longer life and replacement is normally made on request of the client, although these machines, due to their good condition, are normally reused.
The private or captive vending market in Spain is almost 70% of the total of beverage and food vending machines. However, the public vending market is more important in terms of turnover (€484 million vs. €350 million in 2003) due to a higher price of the articles and, above all, to the different mix of products. Hence the percentage of cold drinks vending machines in open public spaces is higher, whereas the trend changes for hot drinks vending machines, with a much lower price per unit. From a profitability point of view, the high taxes that have to be paid for the use of premises open to the public, plus the higher frequency of machine replacements result in a lesser profitability of public vending machines.
