Linguistic background
I hold university degrees in French to MA level. Dual UK and US national having lived in France, the Netherlands, Germany and currently living in Brussels, I am fully fluent in all source languages and also fully conversant with the differences between NL and BEL Dutch.  

A true generalist translator able to translate a variety of fields, such as legal (contracts/agreements of all sorts, travel and health insurance policies, IP, pleadings, statements of defence, counterclaims, rulings, GDPR texts, publications in Official Gazettes, terms and conditions, etc.), I am also a very experienced marketing specialist in areas that include consumer-level automotive texts, tourism, hotel and restaurant websites, luxury products etc. Other fields include property/real estate (i.e. property ads, leases) HR, Health & Safety, gastronomy(including menus, recipes and cookbooks), opera, vocal technique, classical music, speeches (for government officials, university heads inter alia), correspondence of all sorts, newspaper and academic articles, bios, critics' reviews, etc.  

I also do PEMT, back-translations, proofreading, editing, transcriptions and translations from audio files.
