I am a native French speaker, with a university degree in translation (French, English, German). I have been a translator since 1996, specializing in information technology, telecommunications, and medical devices.
In order to better specialize in the medical field, I completed a 30-hour course in medical terminology at the Institute for Health Professionals in Portland Community College, Oregon, in June 2002.
I have a high level of expertise with Trados translation tools. At my previous job as an in-house translator for Excel Translations in San Francisco, I was in charge of Trados translation memories, MultiTerm databases, and all Trados-related issues. I am also proficient in MS Office, FrameMaker, PageMaker, PDF, and HTML.
