I was born and raised in Germany where I studied economics. I also studied English and achieved the C2 Proficiency (CPE) of the University of Cambridge. The C2 Proficiency is the highest level of English language proficiency for non-native speakers. I lived and worked in the Netherlands for almost 20 years, working in an international environment where I had to use English, German and Dutch in every work situation, every day. I have almost 30 years experience in sales and marketing and am used to working with contacts in many different countries. I have worked successfully with professionals in the UK and the US, as well as in Germany and the Netherlands, so I am able to move easily between languages and cultures while striking the right tone in every communication and conversation. You can only communicate clearly if you not only fully understand the foreign language, but are also aware of the cultural differences between countries.

I specialise in marketing translations of all kinds, including technical translations such as manuals, white papers and datasheets, but also general business communications such as press releases, internal communications or terms and conditions and quotations. I translate from Dutch, Flemish and English (US and UK) into my native German.
