I am a young professional from Holland who is specialized in translating Spanish texts. Since I have obtained a MA-degree in the Spanish language & culture, you may call me a true Hispanist. Because I would like to enhance my career perspectives in translating, this year I will start the minor "English translations" at a translation institute in Utrecht, The Netherlands. This means I can offer high quality translation services from both Spanish & English.

I have a background in journalism, reason for why this is one of my areas of expertise. I have also experience in translating marketing & legal texts. Furthermore, I am interested in the medical & technical branch. For in the near future it is my plan to deepen my skills in one or two of the above-mentioned specific areas of expertise. 

My translation career got a big boost because in the beginning of 2019 I did a traineeship in the Dutch Translation Unit of the European Parliament. Here I was mainly involved in translating various texts from English and Spanish. In the meantime I also improved my French a lot.

In my free time I like to go to the gym. I workout at least three times a week. I think a healthy lifestyle is very important for a translator as it keeps the brain fresh.
