Bio
Hi there!

I'm 25 years old, born and raised in Riga, Latvia. Even though I am native Russian speaker, Latvian is my second native language. Since young age I could speak English fluently and till now I can read scientific journals, economical academic papers etc.
I've started to learn Chinese in 2009 in University of Latvia, where I've also participated two times in Chinese Bridge competition (Chinese language proficiency) with success as gaining the first place in 2011 and third in 2012 (happened in the middle of finishing Bachelor's Thesis).
In 2012 I've graduated from the university with excellence and went straight a way to China, to Southeast University in Nanjing. The one year that I was there studying Chinese language on advanced level had me learn a lot about China, the people and the land. It all added up and became HSK Level 5 in 2013.
Upon my arrival I've started my translator's career. First by translating website for medical tourism company in Chinese. Unfortunately this has finished in just two months due t dispute between two owners. So then I took up the freelance translating both oral and written. And I've been doing so for the past two years. Helping Chinese in Latvia with legal and accounting documents, migration laws, land loans agreements, etc. While working with translating agencies I have gained experience in translating on site during the new machinery installment.

I hope I can provide my knowledge and experience to you!
