A dual citizen of the USA and Argentina, I have lived and worked in each country an almost equal number of years. Thus, I claim to be a native speaker in both languages! With a degree in English and Linguistics and a minor in Spanish, I have more than 30 years of experience in the translation industry. My specialty is science, with a strong focus on medical translation. I hold a Certificate of Award from the University of Arizona as Medical Interpreter/translator. My experience also includes literary translations from English into Spanish, legal documentation (Immigration), and general translations.
I started my career as a full-time technical translator for a British diesel engines manufacturing company, but after a few years I found my true passion in the field of science, especially Biology and Medicine. I went back to college for a MS in Biology. Since then, most of my clients have been biologists, professors, doctors, nurses, and hospitals.
