Sun Microsystems has just published "Creating Large Documents Using OpenOffice.org Writer." It's available at https://dct.sun.com/dct/forms/reg_us_2207_191_0.jsp?. While much of it (all?) is available from the Help menu while using Writer, it may be handy to have the entire matter at hand in one guide.
