Russian term

Russian to English Other Slang
Если кто не в курсе, это те самые братья, которые пару лет назад «наехали» ни много ни мало как на президента Башкортостана Муртазу Рахимова на предмет поставить под свою «крышу» всю нефтехимию республики.

Note from asker:

Peer comment(s):

agree Rachel Douglas : With "put the squeeze on". To my ear, "come down on" sounds more like something the legal authorities would do.

neutral Ella Mykhailova : The connotation of this word seems to be not so expressive. Concise Oxford dictionary: dis - speak disrespectfully to. http://oxforddictionaries.com/view/entry/m_en_gb0228790#m_en...

gang up on

Это выражение обозначает объединение группы людей для запугивания кого-то. Как мне кажется, по стилистике и окраске неплохо подходит для передачи значения исходного жаргонного слова.
Peer comment(s):

agree Inessa Valdez : оно же в словаре у П.Р. Пала́жченко как вариант перевода наехать

I'd go with these ones for this kind of meaning. Or do you need only slang lexis?
