to me it seems that they meant "The buyer's inventory days on hand declined from 216 days to 157 and then 105 days over the respective periods FYE 2006, 2007 and 2008", i.e. 157 refers to the year 2007 and 105 refers to 2008

Ah, ma forse ti riferivi a "to 157 days 105 days"...
Scusa sa... leggendo la frase ho messo automaticamente un altro "to".
Direi che intenda che prima sia sceso a 157 e poi a 105... sì senz'altro si sono dimenticati una preposizione:)
