... provided that this is understood as "equipment for moving things" rather than as "equipment that moves". I think the overall phrase simply means "all types of lifting and moving equipment".

I believe it is a spelling error and it is a 'Vorschubruestung. It is used to work on section of bridges or high building before moving to the next section.
