but there was no mention of the passiver or "passivischer" (noch schöner...) Unterschiedsbetrag.
If anyone (looking at you, Robin) has a suggestion, it would be much appreciated.

: Yes, I'd agree with "net post-employment benefit liability", i.e. where pension provisions exceed plan assets. Note that this isn't reported separately on the balance sheet, so I presume that the German is merely a disclosure, or even a comment.

I am assuming this is to do with pension rights? In which case the calculated assets do not cover the calculated liabilities, so there is a shortfall. If it is some other kind of asset then maybe a negative difference, but sure someone can do better than that.
