Yes that is strange. I am also having problems with a delay between getting e-mail notifications and updates being posted on kudoz. Thanks again for your help - I must have read the sentence about 30 times!! Kind regards.

Ah, "davon aus gehen" !!! This makes much more sense to me now; thank-you so much! My "yet to receive funds" was from standing back and trying to think of other ways the sentence could be understood. I was thinking of payment leaving (hence "ausgehen") a bank account. I had not realised that "von" was linked to "ausgehen". The found the use of the word "Identitat" very confusing as well. If you want to propose this is as an answer I will close the question and award you points.

Verständnis I understand the German sentence differently: where do you get the "yet to receive funds" from?? But maybe some surrounding context would help to clarify? I would paraphrase your sentence as follows:
“Es wird angenommen, dass eine (in diesem Satz nicht benannte) Person mit dem Auftraggeber der Zahlungseingänge identisch ist.“

[It can be assumed that XX is indeed the individual introduced to us here who ordered the incoming payments that are the subject of these proceedings]

Can anyone tell me if "Identitat" here means "identity" in English? I cannot understand this sentence at all. Does anyone else find it difficult to understand? If there is someone who understands it fully could you please tell me what is meant? Thank-you!!!!
