The text relates to the construction of a power factor correction system. There is no context except that the phrase comes under the heading "Depose, evacuation et recyclage" and merely states that the client will be responsible for "l'evacuation et le recyclage du materiel depose, enveloppe et appareillage" Plenty of hits with Copernic but I'm still stuck for the translation. Help, as always, appreciated!

Clive, I think it makes sense: "materiel déposé" would refer to items like cabling, cables trays, etc; "enveloppe" would be enclosures, cabinets, etc; and "appareillage" the gear. It seems to refer to all pre-existing equipment that is going to become redundant and be removed as a result of the new construction.
