On 6 October, NETWON organised a ***taxi rally*** in Kathmandu. 500 vehicles and union members participated. Top leadership from the national labour centre was also present. The unionists distributed leaflets to the public, police and journalists calling for the restoration of democracy in Nepal.

Any organized awareness action is a form of protest, whether it
is a march or a rally of any description. It is a way of letting the
management, the government or whoever is in a position of
authority know that there is something radically wrong with the
system currently in place.
It is a way of saying that things have got to change.
So it does have a lot to do with protest, regardless of whether
the scene is set in Nepal or in Paris.

It is an AWARENESS ACTION, nothing to do with protest... just distribution of leaflets.
It is NOT a "movement in a column" + "blowing their horns" kind of action...
Kindly READ the context and bear in mind it originates from Nepal ...
