I am a translator in Romania, certified by the Romanian Ministry of Justice. How could I obtain the same status in UK?
What are the necessary steps. (I am university graduate- 2 universities, I have experience as a translator and as a teacher-more than 10 years)

Thanks o lot for the future answer...

There's no such thing as an "official translator" in the UK.

You will not automatically be able to join, but with your qualifications and experience, they can tell you what is necessary.

The Dip.Trans, an exam set by the CIoL, is a respected qualification, and members of those two institutes are the nearest you will get to official translators in the UK.

Best of luck.
