I was wondering if anyone could help with the following:

My client sent me a huge file and asked me to break it into small files and send them.

It has 20 Chapters. I would like to split them all.

I've heard of apps which might help on that.

Can anyone help, please?

It is impossible to give you any advice at all as you forgot to mention the most important thing: in which format is your file?

Se quiser, divida o pdf por capítulo, transforme em word ou txt e faça o mesmo etc..
Vc não tem o acrobat Paulinho?

You can also use some virtual printer and print chapter after chapter into separate pdf files. Works from any program that has print option.

If you need to export certain pages to some image format, you can use PDF XChange viewer which can export individual pages or whole document to several image formats, including PNG and TIFF.

From Nuance (ex ScanSoft).

Another option to split and rearrange pdf files, change their format to jpg and others, resave as pdf images, etc.

PDF Split and Merge Apr 2, 2014

There is a free (Sourceforge) tool called PDF SAM (for Split and Merge) - needs Java and the HMI is not so flashy - but does many jobs besides splitting or merging PDF files.
For other PDF jobs (notation, comments, bookmarks) I use Foxit PDF reader - very good (but does not support RTL languages)
