I don’t feel it and as long as my customers are happy with my work and keep coming with more projects I’ll keep doing what I have been doing so far, but some of my peers (CAT lovers) leave me feeling like the elephant in the room or the last dinosaur on Earth…

I feel that the times are falling behind, not me:

- Lower rates
- Shorter deadlines
- Acceptance of poor quality work
- Mechanization of a creative process

I don't feel like that. Why should I ? I am up-to-date always. If you are young in heart, you won't feel like falling behind the times professionally.

I may be a dinosaur, since I'm not much into CATs unless they have plenty of fur. However, as I was discussing a term with a client recently and she suddenly exclaimed "Oh I'm so glad I didn't just run this text past Google". Since I specialise in prose littered with creative elements, I don't really think computers are going to make me redundant for a while.

I'm fine with my profession. But there are attempts to sell a bill of goods which doesn't pertain to my work. Maybe it's a matter of not "falling for" rather than "behind".
