For one of my direct clients (an international organization), I've been given reason to think I'm their star freelancer; others have told me that I am one of their best. With agencies, I am one of several they work with. As long as they keep coming back, I feel confident. Others have said straight out that they would like to work with me but they can no longer afford my rates.

I only work with small to medium agencies and direct clients, so my clients certainly know me by name. I've had dealings with the production-line type of agencies where you're just A N Other resource, but they've never been very happy or long relationships. My present clients certainly value me; more than that I couldn't say. I've never asked where I come in their "top 10".

Thinking about a few of them:
- 110% dependable.
- Expensive but worth every cent, often more.
- Too expensive, I only use him as a last-ditch resource.
- A priceless business partner.
- Gets all my video translation problems solved, no matter what!

I would surely fit into several of these categories, depending on the client. For most, I believe I'm among their good or best resources, since I have many long-term clients that keep sending me jobs regularly for years.
