You posted this in the PEMT forum, which is why nobody answered. You should move it to the OmegaT forum.

I don't know the answer, but try these, if you haven't already:

Have you ticked "xliff" in the File Filters in OmegaT? Options > File Filters > XLIFF. There is also a button EDIT for refinements.

Okapi Rainbow Help: http://okapi.sourceforge.net/Release/Shared/Help/tutorial_02.htm

Search for XLIFF on this forum - the issue has been discussed rather often.

Search and/or ask your question on the OmegaT Yahoo list, which has more traffic and is read also by Okapi developers: https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/OmegaT/conversations/messages

What exactly happens?

I have installed the Okabi plugin but still no luck.

When you go to Options > File Filters, do you see filters with (Okapi) in the name?

If yes, make sure you uncheck the standard XLIFF filter, and you check the XLIFF (Okapi) one.

Can someone help, please? Thanks in advance!

This is the best advice.

Plugins folder OmegaT 4.3.2 and 5.2 missing Feb 19, 2020

My XLIFF files weren't loaded. When checking I found that the plugins folder hadn't been installed. After creating such a folder, adding the Okapi 'jar' plugins, unchecking XLIFF and checking XLIFF (Okapi) I could open the XLIFF files.

still no okapi filters in the list Feb 19, 2020

I have a similar problem. There was a plugins folder and I have added okapi in it, but it still does not show up in the filter list. I have restarted OmegaT and the computer since I put the jar-file in that folder.
Any suggestion of what to try next?

Suggestion: ask a good question, in particular:

  1. OmegaT version?
  2. JRE version?
  3. Operating system?
  4. Okapi plugin version?
  5. What are the jar file and that folder that you refer to?
