I am chewing through the Déjà VuX-manual and using past translations to exercise with. If I want to import both the source language and the target-langue file, I only get the target language as source file.
Question: How do I import both files in their correct order?

Deja Vu mailing lists Nov 7, 2003

Have you tried joining the dejavu-l list at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dejavu-l/messages? and asking your question there?

There are also various Deja Vu yahoogroups in other languages:
dejavu-nl
dejavu-fi
dejavu-fr
dejavu-d (DE)
dejavu-c (Catalan)
dejavu-e (ES)

Just substitute the name of the particular group in the URL given above.

Alignment file Nov 7, 2003

I suppose that what you want to do, is create a DV file with the source text in the left column and your translation in the right column?
In that case, you have to create an alignment file instead of a new project (in the window that appears when you press ctrl+n).

Alignment Nov 7, 2003

For alignment go to the file menu, create a new (alignment) project (the bottom menu option after pressing CTRL-N), if that's your question.
