I am a highly devoted teacher with many years of experience helping my students to translate their documents when entering Norway. I have been a teacher for international students with higher education and teach them our language. Students are coming from many different countries.
During all my work in this business, I have updated my education, and I still do. That is why I think I am able to translate several different documents and texts. To me it is very important that the translation is correct, or if it is impossible to translate directly, I will find new words that explain the content of the sentence. During my life I have seen a lot of bad translations when it comes to subtitling.
I have also experience from different type of work like fashion industry, medical care, health care and oil industry.
I use to teach Norwegian language for foreign employees in different industries, and in that type of work I need to learn their technical terminology. This type of job are paid by the government.
I also make "bunad", wich is the traditional Norwegian Costume that we use on our Norwegian Constitution Day, 17 May and for other occasions. So I have a lot of experience within folklore, sewing, and traditional craft.
As I have my own private company, and I do different type of work here in Norway, and everything is done with computer, online, and I support women who needs help to find work and earn money, I have experience using the computer all the time. I will go live on LinkedIn and Instagram, and make videos on YouTube. My age does not stop me from anything.
I am always interested in learning more, and I am not afraid of challenges.
