My interest in Korea led on to a wider interest, initially in North Korea and the political and human rights situation there, but then on to international affairs and relations generally. I enjoy broadening my mind through wide reading, and discussion. I am passionate about film and video games, and have experience working in the film industry. I have had a lifelong passion for books, as well as for travel and the learning of languages and cultures that that entails. I also enjoy active pursuits such as hiking and aerial acrobatics. I use computers on a daily basis, and am competent in a variety of programs, including Microsoft Office.

I am a competent translator from Korean, French or Spanish to English, enjoy transcreation and can proofread and edit translations, as well as original texts.
