My name is Noemi Farina and I am an Italian native translator.

In 2008 I obtained my bachelor's degree in "Nutrition Science" (score: 110/110 cum laude) at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Calabria. I am currently pursuing my studies in chemistry and health care, and I'm enrolled in the master degree "Nutrition Science Specialist" at the aforementioned University. My passion for foreign languages led me to specialize in translation. During my studies I started to work with academics, translating and reviewing scientific articles and journal issues. I currently work as an independent translator from English to Italian and vice versa, especially in the scientific sectors, in particular for medical, chemical, biological, nutritional contents, working with Trados Studio 2009. I'm also working in editing, proofreading and transcription of generic and specialistic contents.

My other passion, the IT, led me to work in the Web Search Evaluation sector. In the past months I've worked for Butler Hill Group as independent annotator. This kind of work has improved my analytical skills such as attention to detail, accuracy and precision.
